Entrepreneur Category: (LTBV)Long Term Business Visa
The Immigration NZ fees for this category is $2800.00 per application including GST.
If you have a business offshore and thinking of setting up or baying a business in New Zealand to obtain permanent Residence then this is the Category for you.
Under this Category you would be able to apply for a 3 year work visa, Immigration NZ will grant you a nine month work visa, with this visa you will have the time to settle in and open a business, after the nine months Immigration NZ will grant you the remainer of a three year period,provided that all is well with the business. You may then aply for Permanent Residence in the remainer time frame, if you meet the healt and character requirements for this Category.
Requirements:
- you have been self employed in the business for a minimum of two years
- You have to show the business is benefiting NZ this can be adchieved by showing proof of:a)Enhanced existing technology
b)Intrduce new technology
c)Requires technical skills
d)Enhanced new or existing products
e)has created employment for New Zealand residence or citizens
- The business need to trade on a profit at the time the residence application is lodge or you need to provide evidence that the business will trade profitable in the next 12 months, it is very important to submit a well completed business plan with your application I strongly recoment to make use of aprofesional in this matter.
